Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Zinfandel opens with an inviting blueberry and strawberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, black pepper and cherry-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. We also found it to be velvety and juicy. The flavor profile is tasty spiced red plum and vanilla oak blend with notes of strawberry licorice and mild Dr. Pepper. We also detected some hints of iced tea towards the very end. The finish is dry and its flavors and medium tannins linger nicely. The Panel would pair this very nice Zin with classic beef bourguignon, Roy’s rib roast, or St. Louis style ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of blackberry and plum jump from the glass and intermix with spicy nuances of coriander, bay leaf, and chai. Juicy flavors of boysenberry, raspberry, and blackberry come forward, combined with deeper notes of marzipan, nutmeg, and dark chocolate. The silky, fine tannins flesh out the spicy finish of black and white pepper, all framed by refreshing acidity and superb balance.
