Wine Review: This pale hay colored Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek Vineyard opens with a very fragrant pink grapefruit and white peach bouquet with hints of lychee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, zippy, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is white grapefruit and tonic water blend with notes of lime zest and passion fruit. I also detected hints of white peach pit and green tea with lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a grilled swordfish sandwich. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2023 Fumé Blanc emanates the classic Dry Creek Vineyard “house” style of Sauvignon Blanc. Aromatics of lemon, lime and grapefruit leap forward from the glass with both fruit and floral nuances of tangerine, mango, honeysuckle, and geranium. On the palate, the wine is intense and bright with passionfruit, peach, and cucumber. Underlying minerality and hints of lemongrass, parsley and ginger contribute to this wine’s refreshing, crisp finish.
