Wine Review: This clear and very pale straw-colored Fumé Blanc from Dry Creek Vineyard opens with a subtle green apple and faint grapefruit bouquet with hints of lime zest and sea breeze. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lime and white peach blend with notes of light white grapefruit and saline. I also detected hints of yellow bell pepper and honeydew melon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. I would pair this brisk Fumé Blanc with sushi. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fermented entirely in stainless steel, the 2024 vintage bursts with aromas of lemon, jasmine, lemon verbena and lemongrass, accented by nectarine, mandarin, pineapple-guava and passionfruit. Layers of creamsicle, cucumber, celery leaf and gravelly minerality add depth. On the palate, lime, grapefruit and citrus peel mingle with white peach, honeydew melon and citrus blossom. Crisp and vibrant with soft mid-palate texture, the wine finishes with bright, racy energy.
