Wine Review: This clear and very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek Vineyard opens with a shy tomato leaf and white peach bouquet with hints of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with beautifully integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is a green tea and stone dust blend with notes of white peach and lemon. We also detected hints of pineapple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with baked Dover sole. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2024 vintage opens with expressive aromas of Meyer lemon, peach, honeydew melon and passionfruit, layered with subtle hints of key lime and vanilla custard. On the palate, citrus, pineapple, and tangerine mingle with delicate floral and mineral notes, accented by traces of white tea and fresh herbs. Round and supple across the midpalate, the wine is lifted by bright acidity, leading to a lingering, flavorful finish. Complex and refined, this Sauvignon Musqué reflects the unique character of the clone while showcasing the balance and freshness that define Dry Creek Valley.
