Wine Review: This clear and light gold colored Chardonnay from Duncan Peak opens with a pineapple and Anjou pear bouquet with hints of ginger ale. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a pineapple and vanilla blend with notes of pear and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of ginger ale, lime, and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its flavors fade way nicely. Everyone that tried this Chard enjoyed it. I would pair it with a pan-seared Rainbow trout with drizzled butter. Enjoy - Ken
