Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Chardonnay from Dutcher Crossing opens with a peach pit and grapefruit pith bouquet with hints of pineapple skin. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is mild pineapple and green tea blend with notes of oak and poached pear. I also detected hints of almond and honeydew melon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this Chard with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli in a light butter cream sauce. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fresh, citrusy, and tropical, the medium straw color of the 2022 Bacigalupi Chardonnay is quite beautiful. Showing some of the vineyards signature mineral notes. The wine is light on its feet giving up aromas of Asian pear, bread dough, and white flowers. Yogurt and cream flavors combine with a silk texture for a delicious experience for your palate. The wine has a slight salinity and a nice balanced acidity to give it a solid finish.
