Wine Review: This pleasantly oaky Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast region is a medium golden yellow color with a bouquet of Meyer lemon, Bartlett pear, vanilla custard, and a floral hint of jasmine. The rich and broad palate is zesty, balanced, and medium bodied with integrated medium-plus acidity. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy, very smooth, and bright with nicely managed oak. I found flavors of green apple, stony minerality, lightly oak, along with notes of thyme, toasted marshmallow, and a hint of flint. The acidity lingers for quite a while in the finish. Serve with Dungeness crab and avocado tostadas. – Mark
