Wine Review: This translucent and bright yellow colored Chardonnay from Dutton Goldfield opens with a coconut and Anjou pear bouquet with hints of butterscotch and pecan. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, creamy, and seamless. The flavor profile is a butterscotch and pear blend with notes gentle oak and banana. We also detected some hints of nutmeg, lemon, and Christmas spices. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would certainly drink this Chard on its own. With food, we would enjoy it with a lobster stew or with Fishbone's seafood sauté. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2021 vintage really showcases the focused juiciness of our Walker Hill. Forward aromas of lemon and tangerine lead the way, highlighted with just the right touch of toasty caramel to round out the lively citrus. The bright crystalline fruit continues in the mouth, with Meyer lemon accompanied by Asian pear and kiwi, along with crème brûlée and a pretty white flower floral touch. Impeccably balanced and long in the finish, this is a wine that will age beautifully for several more years. Enjoy it with creamy dishes that juxtapose the laser brightness, like crab Louie, lobster ravioli in a lemon cream sauce, or Tuscan chicken.
