Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Pinot Noir from Dutton Goldfield opens with a gentle red cherry and dried strawberry bouquet with hints of vanilla and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is stewed black plum and lingonberry blend with notes of chalky minerality and gentle black tea. We also detected hints of loam, oak, and mushroom. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins are very long. We would drink this Pinot on its own as a sipper. With food would pair it with a bacon wrapped meatloaf. Enjoy - KWGTP
