Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Dutton Goldfield opens with a faint pineapple and Bosc pear bouquet with hints of dried coconut, jasmine, and banana. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a coconut banana cream pie with notes of Bartlett pear and Werther’s Original candy. We also detected hints of oak and lemon zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. We would pair this Chardonnay with chilled stone crab cocktail. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Opens with lifted, floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle, layered with notes of golden apple, Meyer lemon, and ripe apricot. On the palate, the wine is both lively and luxurious—its silky texture carrying flavors of Asian pear and citrus zest, accented by hints of white truffle and a savory undercurrent. A crisp line of acidity and signature Green Valley minerality frame the wine’s long, graceful finish. For pairings, think dishes that echo its brightness and richness: lemon chicken piccata, scallop ceviche, butter-basted sole, or aged cheeses like Manchego. This is a Chardonnay that shines equally on a dinner table or enjoyed on its own as a contemplative glass.
