Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Cabernet Franc blend from E11even Wines opens with a geranium leaf and boysenberry bouquet with hints of teaberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and tobacco blend with notes of stony minerality and black licorice. We also detected hints of oolong tea and plum. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed moderate tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Cab Franc with a grilled veal chop. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2023 vintage expresses rich flavors of fresh summer plum, blackberries, crushed gravel, and lilac with a cooling undernote of menthol, tobacco leaf and sage. The indulgent use of new French oak promotes some beautiful aromas of graphite, pencil shavings, vanilla, and baking spices. The rich, decadent, and voluptuous mouthfeel is balanced by youthful tannins. Though drinkable now (especially after decanting for 1-3 hours), this wine will continue to evolve and improve over the next decade.
