Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Eleven Eleven opens with a black licorice and cherry bouquet with hints of blackberry and tobacco leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, bold, and seamless. The flavor profile is graphite and blackberry blend with notes of black licorice and oolong tea. We also detected hints of cedar, black pepper, and black cherry. The finish is dry, and its polished moderate tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would certainly enjoy this excellent Cab on its own with some jazz music.
