Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Pinot Gris from Oregon opens with a fragrant peach and ginger bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tart green apple with notes of minerality and pear. I also detected hints of pilsner beer and almond. The finish is dry and lingers for a while. This Pinot Gris is food friendly and would pair nicely with pan fried brown trout. Enjoy - Ken
