Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a grapefruit and chervil bouquet with hints of saline and cut grass. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and juicy. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality, gooseberry, and gentle lime blend with notes of saline and honeydew melon. I also detected hints of lemon verbena and faint white grapefruit. The finish is dry and its refreshing flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is food friendly and would pair nicely with a grilled swordfish kebabs. Enjoy – Ken, Stuart & Karen
