Wine Review: This pale-yellow colored "XLC"(Extended Lees Contact) Riesling from Eroica opens with an inviting floral and mild beeswax bouquet hints of wet slate. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with noticeable, yet pleasant acidity. The flavor profile is a very tasty mineral influenced lime with notes of light lemon. I also detected hints of green apple, white pepper and ripe yellow grapefruit. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite some time. This Riesling is very food friendly. I would pair it with a swordfish steak with creamy lemon basil sauce or Vietnamese spring rolls. Enjoy – Ken
