Wine Review: This almost clear-colored Riesling from Eroica opens with a Bosc pear bouquet with hints of lychee, white peach, and lemon meringue. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is lemon and mild grapefruit pith blend with notes chalky minerality and lime. We also detected some hints of saline and peach. The finish is on the dry side and nicely refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this crowd-pleasing Riesling with crispy baked scallops or with a baked Dover sole. Enjoy – KWGTP
