Wine Review: This midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and blackberry bouquet with hints of blueberry, oak, and olive. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, opulent and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and oak blend with notes of blackberry and vanilla bean. We also detected hints of black licorice and black tea. The finish is dry and its tannins build-up and linger for quite a while. The Panel suggested pairing this with a Porterhouse steak.
