Wine Review: This yellowish gold colored Chardonnay from Etude opens with a very fragrant tropical bouquet featuring pineapple, melon, and coconut. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright. The flavor profile is a tasty mild chalky minerality and Bosc pear blend with notes of pineapple and saline. I also detected hints of spice and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors and refreshing acidity drift away nicely. This food friendly Chard would pair well with chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
