Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Chardonnay from Etude opens with a mild banana bread, lemon curd, and coconut bouquet with hints of mango and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, lush, and fresh. The flavor profile is cantaloupe and banana blend with notes of coconut and pear. We also detected hints of chamomile tea, lemon, crushed stone, and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity have very nice length. The Tasting Panel would drink this Chard on its own. With food, we would pair it with a garlic roasted chicken, followed by a bread pudding dessert. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Sourced from six special acres in the heart of the ranch, our estate Chardonnay is lively, fresh, and vibrant, showing truly exemplary elegance and grace. We craft this wine, without malolactic fermentation and only a delicate touch of oak to highlight the expressive fruit and terroir. Lifted honeysuckle, Meyer lemon, and vanilla waft from the fragrant bouquet, while zesty, fresh-cut apple, honeydew melon, Bartlett pear, and graham cracker pie crust mingle on the palate. Luscious and creamy with stony minerality and pleasing freshness.
