Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Etude opens with a ripe black cherry and gentle cassis bouquet with hints of blackberry, eucalyptus, and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, plush, and savory. The flavor profile is Australian soft black licorice and graphite blend with notes of red plum, oak, and black tea. We also detected hints of clove and black cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and moderate refined tannins linger and last for a while. We would pair this Cab with New York strip steak or braised short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
