Wine Review: This clear and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Etude opens with a red plum and oolong tea bouquet with hints of violets and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, suave, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a red plum and stone dust blend with notes of gentle tobacco and black tea. We also detected hints of clove, raspberry, and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined and polished gentle tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this versatile and food friendly Pinot with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon. Enjoy - Ken & Joe
