Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Chardonnay from Etude opens with a fragrant lemon verbena and baked Macintosh apple tart bouquet with hints of crushed seashells, lime zest, and pine needles. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and juicy. The flavor profile is chalky minerality and green apple blend with notes of lemon tea and Anjou pear. We also detected hints of hibiscus tea, almond, and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this friendly Chard with seared sea scallops with ginger-lime butter sauce or with raw bar. Enjoy - KWGTP
