Wine Review: This fruity and fresh South African Chardonnay is straw colored with a tinge of green, with a bouquet of peach, pineapple and wet stone. On the palate, it is smooth, medium body, slightly creamy and displays bright acidity. Its flavors profile is a tart lemon and green apple blend with integrated minerality and a hint of vanilla oak. It closes with a lingering tasty finish with citrus notes. This very good value Chard is a good picnic wine to serve with cold fried chicken. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: This crisp, mouthwatering bottling is a blend of Excelsior’s three best Chardonnay blocks. It displays lively flavors of green apple, citrus, and pineapple on a full, creamy palate. Traces of peach, orange blossom and delicate toasty notes combine with a mineral edge to round out this versatile everyday sipper, a consistent crowd pleaser.
