Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah from South Africa is a very goof value. On the nose we smelled cured meats, cassis, black currant, plum, cedar and a hint of fresh ground black pepper. Medium bodied. This wine is juicy and dry with dark fruits with moderate acidity. It is balanced and has well integrated tannins. We tasted flavors of black raspberry, black currant, black plum and cherries. It's dusty tannins linger on the finish. This food friendly Syrah would pair well with pan seared duck breast or hearty stews like Hungarian goulash. – Karen & Stuart

Winemaker Notes: This bottle bursts with bold juices of blackberry, cherry, licorice and plum. Its bright jammy flavors are tinged with touches of dark chocolate and Asian spice that mingle with mellow earthy undertones. A tasty, crowd pleasing red!
