Wine Review: This slightly hazy and dark ruby colored Grenache based blend from Famille Lancon opens with a shy black cherry and blueberry bouquet with hints of cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a black plum and stony minerality blend with notes of black cherry and blueberry. I also detected hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins are very nicely extended. I would pair this very good value Cotes du Rhone with your favorite burger recipe. Enjoy – Ken
