Wine Review: This cloudy ruby colored wine from Cotes du Rhone opens with a fragrant strawberry and red raspberry bouquet with a hint of cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a cranberry and red currant blend with notes of red raspberry. I also detected some hints of cinnamon and touch of minerality and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors are nicely prolonged. This very quaffable wine that will be a crowd pleaser. I would serve it with bratwurst bangers and mash with onion gravy. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A beautiful dark color, the nose shows pretty notes of red fruit, raspberries, wild strawberries, spices, and garrigue. The palate is powerful, full, with great finesse. The tannins are velvety and the finish has great length.
