Wine Review: This cloudy and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a boysenberry and red licorice bouquet with hints of pipe tobacco and vanilla-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, refined, smooth, and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a black cherry and mild stony minerality blend with notes of menthol, toasty oak, and blueberry. We also detected hints of black currant and black tea. The finish is rather dry, and its refined dusty tannins showed very nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with braised short ribs, steak au poivre, or with a three meat bolognese with penne rigate, Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: An elegant perfume of mixed berries, baking spice, dried lavender and thyme open onto a full palate layered with expansive mixed berry, black tea, toasted oak, and spice flavors. Focused and fresh, fine-grained tannins support the wine throughout, while the finish is silky, long and lifted.
