Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Cabernet opens with a pleasant red currant and strawberry licorice bouquet with a touch of oak. On the palates, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, very smooth and displays lush fruit flavors. Those flavors are ripe black currant and boysenberry with hints of cranberry and mild oak. The finish is dry and its moderate fine oak tannins drift away nicely. This Cab is elegant and classy. I would serve it with a grilled filet mignon over the next couple of years. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: An expressive wine of elegance offering layers of black cherry, dried currant and spice laced with nuances of licorice and dark chocolate for added complexity. Dark fruit and refined tannins provide wonderful texture and a lingering finish.
