Wine Review: This brick red colored Zinfandel from Lodi opens with a pleasant black cherry and raspberry bouquet that includes some light oak and vanilla. Its medium bodied palate is bold and jammy with a flavor profile of plum, blackberry, black cherry and notes of black tea, oak, black licorice and black pepper. Its light tannins and flavors balance out nicely once decanted for about an hour. The finish exhibits some dark chocolate and is slightly dry and smooth while fading away nicely. I would pair this Zinfandel with smoked bourbon barbecue baby back ribs. – Joe

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of red fruits and cinnamon spice. Displays good density. Fruit flavors are rich red plum and blackberry spice along with a long and smooth finish.
