Wine Review: This burnt red colored blend opens with an appealing bouquet of earthy and musty black cherry along with hints of herbs and light oak. On the palate, it is full bodied, smooth and slightly dry. The flavor profile is black fruit including black cherry, black raspberries, spicy black licorice, light oak, plum and black tea. The tannins are balanced, and the structure is good. I particularly enjoyed distinguishing the characteristic influences of the varietals that make up this enjoyable red blend. The finish was slightly dry and a little short. I would pair this red blend with cocktail meatballs over basmati rice. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: One might say our Honest Red Blend has a rich, round mouth feel with lush black currant flavor and the subtlest hint of North Coast, California spice. We’d just say it tastes damn good, if we're being honest.
