Wine Review: This dry Italian sparkler is a medium copper color with some small bubbles and has a delicate bouquet of strawberry, hazelnut, and orange zest aromas. On the palate, it is elegant, quite frothy, and slightly creamy, with bright plus acidity, medium body, and good intensity. I found flavors of strawberry crème, white peach and wet stone, with hints of blood orange and pomegranate. The finish is dry and lingers for quite a while. I would pair it with mini-lobster salad sliders. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Its old rose hue displays a brilliant sheen, shot through with fine bubbles. The complexity of the nose is immediately evident, allowing hints of blood orange, red currants, plums, and raspberries to emerge. Gradually, as the wine warms up in the glass, one perceives notes of sugared almonds and aromatic breads, with suggestions of cumin. On the palate it reveals an attractively rich yet elegant structure, and a notably long aftertaste that again conjures up sensations of red berry fruits.
