Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot from Fess Parker finished in third place in our mid-tier blind Pinot tasting. It opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with a hint of raspberry and vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and shows harmonious acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black raspberry sorbet with a hint of black pepper and spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger slightly. The panel suggested pairing this very nice Pinot with Italian dishes like veal parmigianna. Enjoy – KWGTP
