Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Syrah opens with a mild cranberry and blackberry jam like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a black plum and blackberry blend with notes of black pepper. I also detected hints of boysenberry and black currant and old oak. The finish is dry and its medium tannins are sticky and linger for a while. This wine would pair well with sweet barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: On the nose, this Syrah has an abundance of bold aromas including blackberry, black pepper, blueberry, graham cracker and baking spices. Bold flavors of black cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and clove combine with smoked meat, vanilla and espresso.
