Wine Review: This light yellow colored Viognier from Fess Parker opens with a mild honey and gentle Bartlett pear bouquet with a hint of old oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, a touch sweet, and a viscous. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused honey with hints of gentle peach and mild tangerine. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with chicken tortellini with a brown buttered cream sauce and sautéed wild mushrooms. Enjoy - Ken
