Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Greco from Feudi di San Gregorio opens with a faint ginger ale and lilac bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral influenced white peach and green apple blend. I also detected hints of almond and lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Greco is delightful and would pair perfectly with fish and chips. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense straw yellow color with a golden shimmer. Light scents of ripe pears, apricots, apples, fern and mint. It displays lively acidity along with spicy minerality typical of vines cultivated in Tufo. It also has an incredibly long finish showing soft notes of balsamic.
