Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot based wine opens with a black cherry, dark chocolate and coconut bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum with notes red currant, black cherry and cedar. I also detected hints of craisin and a touch nutmeg, cinnamon and dark chocolate towards the end. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors linger nicely. This wine is a crowd pleaser and food friendly as well. It would pair nicely with filet mignon medallions. Enjoy – Ken
