Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an initial earthy red beet and cherry-cola bouquet. It evolves into pomegranate and oak with some aeration. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle red plum and strawberry blend with notes of lingonberry and chalky minerality. I also detected some hints of cinnamon and other spices towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is very easy to drink and food friendly. It went extremely well with Point Reyes “Original Blue” cheese and stoned wheat crackers. Enjoy - Ken
