Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with an inviting teaberry gum, oak, and black raspberry bouquet with hints of pomegranate, potting soil, and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a black raspberry, ripe black plum, and toasted oak blend with notes of black tea. We also detected hints of pomegranate, vanilla, and loam. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this food friendly Pinot Noir with veal marsala. Enjoy – KWGTP
