Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Viognier opens with a fragrant and inviting lychee and white peach bouquet with hints of lemon and nectarine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is an apricot and tangerine blend with hints of coconut flakes, white tea, minerality, and anise. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. The Tasting Panel could certainly enjoy this Viognier on its own. With food we would pair it with an apricot-glazed pork tenderloin or with Pam's macaroons. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: We make this wine for one reason only: because it is awesome. This vineyard has been the source of my favorite Viognier in California for many years. Viognier has a tendency to go from not quite ripe to over-ripe very quickly. There is a narrow window where the grape has developed rich flavors but retains the bright acidity that makes the wine lively and attractive.
