Wine Review: This clear dark red colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a red raspberry and ripe black cherry bouquet with hints of dark chocolate, cranberry, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and bright. The flavor profile is red raspberry and red plum blend with notes of cherry licorice and chalky minerality. We also detected hints of pomegranate tea, cranberry, and baking spice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate fine tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Pinot with duck confit or with a hoisin glazed pork belly. Enjoy - KWGTP
