Wine Review: This clear and light gold colored Chardonnay from Flanagan opens with a ginger tea and Anjou pear with hints of green apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and quince blend with notes of ginger tea and mild apricot. I also detected hints of green apple and a trace of oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. I would pair this very good Chard with a baked halibut stuffed with crab. Enjoy – Ken
