Wine Review: This clear and deep medium red colored Pinot Noir from the River Road Grape Farm opens with an aromatic and inviting red raspberry and red licorice bouquet with hints of green tea, red plum, and roses. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, seamless, and savory. The flavor profile is a loam and juicy red plum blend with notes of red raspberry and dried strawberry. We also detected hints of black pepper, oak, tobacco, and baking spice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild chewy tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with duck confit crostini with parsnip puree and fig or with lamb lollipops with rosemary. Enjoy - KWGTP
