Wine Review: This clear and pale gold colored Chardonnay from Flanagan opens with a light oak and gentle pineapple bouquet with hints of vanilla, butter, pear, and banana. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, slightly creamy, and fresh. The flavor profile is gentle oak and pineapple blend with notes of caramel green apple and cantaloupe. We also detected hints of lemon, white peach, and green tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would pair this Chard with a chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light butter cream sauce or with a cioppino (aka shellfish stew) Enjoy - KWGTP
