Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a moist loam and black cherry bouquet with hints of cola and mahogany. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and cola blend with notes of loam and mushroom. I also detected hints of stone dust, cherry, and tangerine. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this Pinot Noir with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
