Wine Review: This is a nice weeknight bottle to open. Clear medium ruby colored with ripe plum, blueberry, leather, and baking spice aromas. I also detected some cherry, vanilla, and bananas. On the palate it is fruit forward, medium bodied and straight forward. I found flavors of red plum, bramble, black cherry, vanilla, tangerine, cedar, and an herbal note. The finish is dry and moderate in length with moderate coarse tannins. It would be great with a grilled cheeseburger. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Our rich, smooth, and full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon has deep blue and black fruit on the palate with cocoa powder and vanilla notes. Additionally, there are warm spice components, like nutmeg and cassis. The tannins are integrated and the wine ends with a long and velvety finish. Pair Flat Top Hills Cabernet Sauvignon with blue cheeseburgers or rosemary braised lamb shanks.
