Wine Review: This dark red colored wine from Foppiano opens with an earthy red raspberry bouquet with hints of spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, fruity and a bit sweet. The flavor profile is a blend of red raspberry jam, strawberries, cranberries and light oak along with some hints of blueberries. The finish is off-dry and pleasant with graceful tannins that compliment this very approachable red blend. I enjoyed this wine. It is a straight forward easy-going red. I would recommend pairing this good value wine with barbecue chicken or a red pasta dish. – Joe

Winemaker Notes: Our 2017 Lot 96 exhibits aromatics of blackberry jam, nutmeg and cinnamon. Wild raspberry dominates the palate and finishes with brambly, integrated oak. This wine will be thoroughly enjoyed casually during a cocktail hour or with a fine meal.
