Wine Review: This very opaque and dark purple colored Syrah from Four Vines opens with a boysenberry and red currant bouquet with hints of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, slightly acidic, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a spicy blueberry with integrated oak with notes of black cherry. We also detected hints of menthol and mulberry as well. The finish is dry and shows a little heat as its very tingly tannins show decent length. The panel suggested pairing this fruit bomb with short ribs or duck. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Seductive Red velvet color. Spicy plum and Syrah berry laced with rose petal. On the mouth... big red and black berry fruit, mineral and dusty rose, finishing with long-seductive oak. Mysterious, sultry... WOW. At 3,000 feet, the cool Amador nights and red mountain soils lend to good acid balance and bright exploding fruit.
