Wine Review: This strawberry rhubarb colored "Dry" Rose from Seneca Lake opens with an inviting mild fruity strawberry bouquet. On the palate, it is light bodied, smooth and refreshing with balanced acidity. The flavor profile is a slightly tart pink grapefruit with notes of light strawberry and minerality. The finish is dry and pleasantly extended. This is a crowd pleasing, easy going wine, that should be served slightly chilled. I would pair it with cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: This is the kind of exuberant, fruit-forward wine that makes many wine lovers want to abandon all other styles, at least during the spring and summer months. Lightly chilled, it offers straight-ahead strawberry and raspberry flavors coupled with a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. We consider this dry Rosr to be our most versatile wine when it comes to food pairing: open a bottle and enjoy it with anything from fried chicken to nicoise salad.
