Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored wine opens with a blackberry and anise like bouquet with a hint of musty oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and plum blend with hints of black licorice and a good dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are dusty hang around for some time after the wine is gone. This wine is food friendly, but needs some fat. Pair it with barbecue slow cooked pulled pork shoulder. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Red color, intense crimson. Intense nose of red small fruits and black, spiced notes, notes of liquorice and vanilla. The mouth flexible and is structured by tannins and fruity notes. Very long finale in mouth.
