Wine Review: This pale gold colored white blend from France opens with a fragrant grapefruit bouquet with a hint of peach pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty lime and gentle grapefruit blend with hints of white pepper, green melon and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild acidity drift away nicely. This wine is a very nice low cost summer wine for a hot day. Serve it cool, not cold to preserve the flavors. Pair with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Grenache contributes an exotic expression of ripe apricot with a hint of spice that is complemented by the more citrus, crisp fruit flavors of the Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas of white flowers, peaches and citrus fruit lead to a well-balanced, complex palate with just the right amount of acidity that lingers on the finish in this food friendly, crowd-pleasing wine.
